Bucket Theory

I don’t know about all of you, but it brings me comfort to know why something happened; I like to know the reason behind things, especially as it relates to health.

That’s why I love using the bucket theory to explain why health fails - it’s a clear representation of the reason why, and it goes a little something like this...

Imagine for a moment that our bodies are buckets, and, much like us, these buckets are all different. Some are big, some are small...but they all have a set capacity, and a point where they will overflow. 🌊 🌊 🌊

Now imagine that the toxins ☠️ we encounter everyday - in our environment, the air we breathe, water we drink, chemicals we come in contact with, medications we take, fillings in our teeth - are the water that fills our “buckets.”

We each have a different capacity, genetically (remember, big and small buckets!), to handle these toxins, but repeated exposure leads to a build up that needs to be emptied or it will overflow. That’s when symptoms and illness take hold. 👎
