The Biosphere is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Designed by Roger, it was built for the 1976 World Exposition and houses an indoor ecosystem.
The Montreal Biosphère is one of the most unique and memorable buildings in Montreal and in all of Canada. Originally envisioned by Buckminster Fuller, with both he and Moshe Safdie listed as the project's designers, the building is a slender sphere-like structure with a diameter of 112 meters resting at the top on a giant tripod.
