Biosphere: KNOWN "ORBITAL WHEEL IN THE SKY"

The Biosphere was designed by one of the most admired and iconic architects in modern architecture - Buckminster Fuller. It is the only facility of its kind in the world and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2005. Described by Buckminster Fuller as an “orbital wheelhouse in the sky,” it is composed of three geodesic domes: one that opens to reveal an arched entrance, and two smaller ones that support the dome and serve as intake and outtake
