Earlier this month former U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he was launching a social media platform called Truth Social and forming the Trump Media Technology Group. On the 26th he stated his initial intentions for the platform. The group will launch an "invited guest" test platform in November and go live for all users early in 2022.

The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is set to begin on Nov. 1. Rittenhouse, now 18, is charged with killing two men and wounding a third during the BLM riots in Kenosha County Wisconsin. Judge Bruce Schroeder (SHROW-der) has ruled that Kyle Rittenhouse's legal team can refer to the men shot dead by the teenager, as a "rioter" and a "looter" in his murder trial
