The Supreme Court has been asked to consider at least nine legal challenges to President Joe Biden's COVID-19 vaccine mandate after a federal appeals court last week put the controversial policy back into effect and overturned an earlier court ruling. Decisions are not expected until probably early January. Faith groups, companies, and attorney generals have asked the Supreme Court to hear their challenge over the weekend, but the Supreme Court said it had placed their lawsuits and others on the court's docket. DeSantis proposed legislation that would give teachers, parents, and private company employees the right to sue schools and companies that try to force them to promote policies or teach CRT principles.
