God is good all the time 346: Mentoring others to Grow in Spirit

We know about teaching others and we know about preaching to others. But those two things are from the position of one in authority to someone who needs to know. Mentoring on the other hand is related to teaching but it is more intimate as the teacher and the student are more closely engaged with each other as they teach and learn the lessons that are being worked on. Jesus was a teacher and I think there are also aspects of a mentoring attitude as well. But Paul and the Holy Spirit are both good examples of mentoring as they both come aside of those that are being taught and help them to understand the meanings and the lessons that are being taught. Join me as I look at the idea of mentoring others in their growth in the spirit.
