Yet on our knees and fight like real men and women

In our own strength, we really only have the ability to change ourselves. We can change our own mindsets, heartsets, direction, intention, habits, etc. But very often we wish we could change those very same things, in other people.

Very often we feel victimized or negatively impacted by somebody else’s mindset or heartset or direction or intention or habit, etc. What can we do in those cases?

We can fight back. Really? Yes. We can go to God with those issues. We can pray and reach out to God. When we pray on our knees, we show submission to God as well as honor to Him. It underscores our reliance on Him as well as our adoration of Him. Both of these please God.

When it comes to changing the minds, hearts, courses, and actions of other people, leave that to God. But ask Him specifically about those things that directly impact us. Let Him be our protector and provider. And give Him the glory and the credit when we see things change for the better.
