Republicans FLIP Democrat stronghold in Iowa; Federal Judge blocks United Airlines vaccine Mandate

The results of the special election for the Iowa House of Representatives held on Oct. 12th are clear, with Republican Jon Dunwell winning, flipping Newton District held by Democrats for years. According to unofficial results, Dunwell won nearly 60 percent of the vote, while Democrat Steve Mullen received 40.2 percent.

A federal judge issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) against United Airlines on Wednesday, preventing the company from imposing vaccine mandates on any of its employees in a nationwide class action lawsuit.
