My mother is a lot like Paul in the sense that she suffers a lot for the will of God to be fulfilled. And through her suffering, she is able to be whatever He needs her to be in the given situation of that moment. Again, very much similar to Paul.

Why do some people have to suffer like Paul but others do not, such as John the Beloved Disciple? It deals with each person's heart and their own unique relationship with God.
