Here's the calculation:

1 lt = 1000 ml = 1000g
1g of gold is $55
1 ppm is 1/1.000.000 kg = 0.001g
1g = $55
$55 / 1000 * 60 (ppm) = $3.3

also ... in 1lt of 60 ppm colloidal gold there's 0.06g of pure gold
