Are the Taliban Holding Americans Hostage at the Airport in Afghanistan?

Reports over the weekend indicate that the Taliban are holding up flights from leaving Afghanistan because certain individuals in the group do not have the proper documents to leave. While some in the groups do have the proper documents, they are still being held by the Taliban. Is the State Department covering up a hostage situation?
