Big Bass Campground Ocala National Forest Hike

If you travel East on 42 from The Villages you will cross the Ocklawaha River and eventually reach the Ocala National Forest. About a mile further you will see a camping sign and a dirt road on the left. About 1/4 mile down that road you will find the Big Bass National Forest Campground. It is only open during the winter from October 15 to April 15. The cost for now is $10 per night.
I someday want to camp here for a few days so let us take a tour of the campground and surrounding area.
