NBA player knelt on and tasered by cops in his own home

Not even fame and fortune – or being in your own home – can save you from the literal weight of the law.

Bodycam footage shows police forcefully arresting New Orleans Pelicans player Jaxson Hayes, 21, at his house in Woodland Hills. One officer kneels on his neck, causing Hayes to shout, ‘I can’t breathe. I can’t breathe. I can’t breathe.’

After the officer lifts his knee, Hayes is tasered.

Hayes’ girlfriend’s cousin had called the LAPD, alleging that Hayes’ girlfriend had sent text messages saying that the NBA star had become loud and violent.
