Denmark lifts COVID restrictions & vaccine passport; State Dept. closes Kabul airport to Americans

Denmark was one of the first European nations to impose a partial lockdown in March last year, with schools and businesses closed. Like many countries, Denmark has tightened and relaxed its lockdown measures through the course of the pandemic. In April this year, it launched a COVID-19 vaccine passport system. However, the Danish Council on Ethics requested that the passport be used for the shortest time possible and protect private information.

On Sunday night, Rep. Ronny Jackson tweeted that the State Department was not helping Americans trying to flee the country. He said his team has been on the phone all day trying to get American citizens out. Those people have been just outside the airport numerous times, but the State Department isn’t going to help.
