For video Licensing Contact showfaith@gmail.com Video was shot on 11-18-19.....The City of Lexington, began loading thousands of tons of salt today in their brand new salt barn. The city cut the ribbon on the additional facility today and wasted no time filling it up. The latest facility will hold approximately 7000 tons of salt. Lexington typically treats a minimum of 22 snow & ice events each year from November 1st till April. The additional facility is expected to save time for the road crews and cut down on the wear and tear of their equipment.
