Police rescued blind, deaf & elderly dog from long forgotten cistern

Penny, a blind, deaf and elderly family pet on Green Street discovered a long forgotten cistern that became exposed with the recent heavy rains. She ended up about 5 feet underground. Fortunately Officers Toro, Gill and Sgt. Gillen were able to capture her with our stray dog pole and bring her back safely to her family!
Who doesn’t love a story with a happy ending!
