O ISIS zrobiło się głośno za sprawą zamachów, które wstrząsnęły Europą kilka lat temu. Jednocześnie w Iraku i Syrii organizacja zdołała zająć ogromne obszary obu krajów, a kulminacją ich zbrodniczej działalności, było ludobójstwo na Jezydach w Sindżarze w sierpniu 2014 roku.

Państwo Islamskie nie wzięło się jednak znikąd, a jego korzenie sięgają znacznie wcześniej. Genezy ISIS można upatrywać w okresie interwencji wojskowej ZSRR w Afganistanie, która miała miejsce w latach 1979 -1989.

Później były liczne przekształcenia, sojusze i rozłamy, które finalnie doprowadziły do konfliktu, trwającego, tak naprawdę do dziś.

W tym filmie chcielibyśmy wyjaśnić kilka kwestii związanych z historią powstania ISIS, choć ma ona znacznie więcej wątków i nie jest tak prosta i jednoznaczna.

In Europe, we first heard about ISIS during a series of bloody attacks which were particularly intense in the period between 2015 and 2017. At the same time, in Iraq and Syria, the organization managed to occupy huge areas of both countries, and the culmination of their criminal activities was the genocide on the Yazidi in Sinjar in August 2014.

The origins of ISIS can be traced back to the period of the USSR military intervention in Afghanistan in 1979-1989. Numerous transformations led to the outbreak of a conflict that continues to this day.
