The Yemen Arab Republic (YAR; Arabic: الجمهورية العربية اليمنية), also known simply as North Yemen was a country from 1962 to 1990.
In 1978, the Yemen Arab Republic (Arabic: الجمهورية العربية اليمنية), or North Yemen changed anthem. The music was composed by Ali Al Ansi and lyrics were by Ahmed Al Amari. The anthem was arranged by Mukadam Ali Al Yatim and Nakib Gamal Attiah.
