"Good Morning Heartache" was first recorded and released on Jan 22, 1946 by Billie Holliday. Since then dozens of singers have covered it, usually as a torch ballad, similar to the original.

On her "Speakeasy" album, released as a jazz/blues Paula decides to give it a modern take that makes it more appealing to R&B and soul fans. But interestingly enough, she uses a traditional jazz trio of Piano, Bass and Drums" . This worked great as it was filmed when Covid was placing limitations on the number of musicians allowed on stage simultaneously to allow social distancing. You'll see the bass player chooses to wear his mask during the performance (he's a good looking guy under there :)
