Our next chance of significant rain returns today, with on/off showers & thunderstorms. Chances for storms linger throughout the weekend and into next week. Some storms could be strong/severe with locally heavy rain, mainly overnight Saturday and into early Sunday morning. The heat & humidity will continue to rise and take over the area as we push into the weekend. 90s are possible next week if we get enough sunshine at peak heating. Dew points will all be rising into the upper 60s & lower 70s too, making for some uncomfortable days.
