I was fortunate enough to welcome Dr. Michael Goran to an Instagram Live session recently.

Sugar is harmful to us in SO many ways. The human body just doesn't need it, and it certainly doesn't thrive on it.

If anyone wants to know exactly how sugar harms the body, you can find out in this clip. It probably does a lot more to you than you might think!

And as always, I like to remind people that it's not just candies and cakes and cookies that are sugars. It's ALSO the breads, pasta, bagels, biscuits and other carb-heavy foods.
