DOJ declares COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates Legal; Arizona Senate issues new subpoenas to Maricopa County

The Department of Justice has issued an opinion that federal law concerning the FDA’s emergency use of COVID-19 vaccines doesn’t prohibit public agencies or private businesses from mandating vaccines.

The Arizona Senate issued a subpoena to Maricopa County for audit materials.Senate President Karen Fann and Senate Judiciary Chairman Warren Petersen ordered the county to turn over ballot envelopes, voter records, and routers or router images. In addition, the Maricopa Board of Supervisors was asked to submit all usernames and passwords used in election voting machines.

The CDC altered its COVID-19 guidance again. The top health agency now says the fully vaccinated should wear masks indoors in some areas. This also includes schools. CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told reporters that the new guideline was not something they took lightly, it derives from “worrisome” new science.
