NAMED THE BOAT- A Short Boat Film

Ahoy!

You guys know by now we bought this boat last August, then I got injured and all the best laid plans were delayed big time.

She's in the water, but we haven't sailed yet.

Today, we have renamed our her. She used to be "Miss Emily," as well as a few strange names.

Check out our tango to get the new vinyl name added to her hull. I set out to hand paint her name, but it turns out I am not steady handed and I'm impatient. Who wants to skip coffee in the a.m. all in the name of a steady hand?

I painted the name on a few materials and eventually I asked Chris if we could reproduce it and run the design through our cricut. The answer was "yes." We took a picture and loaded into cricut design space and Chris pieced together the long vinyl segments and voila!
