If Vaccines Injure Pregnant Women or Their Unborn Babies, What Will the Vaccine Court Do?

This is a video of a public comment presented by NVIC co-founder and president Barbara Loe Fisher at a DHHS hearing about the addition of CDC recommended vaccines for pregnant women to the Vaccine Injury Table (VIT) of the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). The Table change is being made because of a congressional amendment to the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act in the 2016 21st Century Cures Act. Fisher discusses the history of the 1986 Act, the lack of vaccine product liability for vaccine manufacturers, the gaps in scientific knowledge about the biological mechanisms for vaccine risks and failures, and what is and is not known about potential negative health effects of maternal vaccination on pregnant women and unborn babies developing in the womb.
