We recently took our annual 4th of July run through The Rubicon. This video specifically shows the section of Little Sluice. Most people like to bypass this obstacle, but it really isn't anything crazy. Back in the day (like 25 years ago), it was MUCH different. Many of the big rocks have been blasted and loads and loads of small rocks were brought in.
If you're not interested in attempting Little Sluice, there are bypasses on both sides. Personally, I think the north side bypass is a lot harder than just running Little Sluice.
