Lofty Tangents: Rooting for the Underdogs, Signs of Madness, and Whatnot

This really gets out of hand at times, but it all stems from questioning why we root for the underdogs. From there it goes to whether or not underdogs are truly underdogs, and how a warped view of underdogs/power is a primary--perhaps sole--contributor to contemporary fits of madness.
