Hiking the Flora Lake trail | Chilliwack Lake

Ep 19:

Today on Doing Stuff with Aaron I head out to the Chilliwack River Valley and hiked the Flora Lake trail. This was a 10km journey straight up the mountain to the Alpine level. I was trying to make it to the campsite but got turned around by the snow and my desire to stay safe as I was by myself and did not want to get into a sticky situation. So with my plan in place, a backpack full of gear and a lack of common sense I made my way up. Wow... totes worth it. I planned on a hike and cook as I brought a steak but in the end decided to skip the meal as it was pretty hot and I wasn't really hungry. Lots of cool view and some super cold streams to refill the water jugs... So much fun. Hope you enjoy the 25k steps it took to film this! lol
