A.I. Ethics - Should A.I. Manage Humans

Imagine if you will... a world in which any and all possible communications between humans are monitored and managed by A.I.

What if we think of a future where A.I. steps in, to regulate and redefine international, corporate, and social diplomacy, for the purpose of improving efficiency as well as averting all possible misunderstandings and conflict all the way from the family unit to the ruling of nations. If a system was in place to translate that which we communicate, so that what shouldn't be said is avoided, and areas of common interest are emphasized, it would facilitate smoother coexistence at so many levels.

So this would be a novel way of augmenting human interaction. Will we need it? Will we like it? Should we resist it? Why? Maybe safe boundaries... But on the flip-side, we don't need to dig too deeply to see the many communicative breakdowns that have occurred throughout history between people, from the waging of wars, to domestic conflict and divorce. Have you heard of "voice of God technology"? Maybe there's going to be a new meaning for it in the future. These are some of the areas for this episode! What we don't cover this week will be continued in the next episode. Please join us for a lively discussion.
