Poker Run at the VORRA Yerington 250 Desert Race May 29, 2021

We decided to enter the Poker Run during the Vorra Yerington 250 desert race on Memorial Day weekend 2021. This was our first ever Poker Run and we weren't sure what we were doing. The run itself was one lap of the race course (approximately 50 miles) with the final stop at the Chevron station in town. We started towards the end of the line, but ended up the last vehicle on the course. haha. We should have aired our tires down as it would have been a much more enjoyable ride.

It was a fun trip and we would definitely do it again! We didn't have the winning hand, but we didn't have the worst hand either. Our hand started out good but ended poorly.

Later that evening was the pre-race parade in town. Always fun to see everyone in one area excited for the next days race.
