In this short video, we’ll be going through the process I use to create my floating paper templates as a guide in airbrushing camouflage patterns on models. This technique can also be employed to determine dimensions for custom decals and scratch building parts. A pencil, a calculator, and simple measurements from a ruler as well as a photo copier or computer printer are all that are required.
After two sets of examples, you’ll have an opportunity to try the method yourself with a given set of measurements from a model airplane instruction manual.
