Pond and River Organisms - Under the Microscope!

Today, we went out and took random water samples from a local pond and river. The pond showed the most life under the microscope which was expected. Near the end of the video, you will see what looks like oil in the water. This is actual oil from a goose. Most waterfowl produce oil from a gland to help them stay waterproof. The insect featured on the thumbnail looks to be a mayfly larvae. There is SO MUCH life in the water. Stay tuned for our next video and don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!! Thanks all.
