What did Peter Preach at Pentecost? - May 23, 2021

When Peter found himself in front of a crowd moments after the life-changing experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit, you might expect that the central theme of his message would be the Holy Spirit. He does briefly explain what had happened to him and the other disciples, but then, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he preaches a sermon in which the Holy Spirit is not the central figure. What was the message that Peter was inspired to preach that day? And how does it apply to us today?
