Powerful Women of the Bible: Sarah

Today we will be reading about Sarah in the Powerful Women of the Bible Series. She is a powerful woman of the Bible because not only does she receive a name change from God, but the name change was to reaffirm God's promise to her that she would have a child at an old age. Her name means princess and though the name change only included a letter change, the significance of the name change had more meaning. She would become known as the mother of nations.
