What did you do?

It’s then sold as an honor for be in their presence but the reality sinks in that the direct report is grabbing the spotlight to shine brighter than the other stepchildren who went on about their business without including them.

Ultimately we do what we do, the gears start turning, so how do we tell them how great we are without them throwing up challenge flag.

Challenge!

It’s a journey, we take them through the past unpleasantness and describe how we overcame the objection.

This is where we are today.

Now we take them to the future achievement with the fruits of contributing to their personal bonus, I mean the Team, for the selfless sacrifice of our effort and divulging a twist of excitement from exploring a new business sector.

Quite honestly all the data has to be presented in an optimistic manner setting the bar just high enough to be achievable yet avoiding the magnitude of obstacles that are for sure going to challenge you every day.

After all we are not selling next year’s hybrid models, we are identifying a pain point, and taking that pain away… #dbrn
