20210517 Critical Thinking - The Daily Summation

It seems to me too many people are afraid to diverge very far off the "party line."

For my part, I HAVE NO PARTY, thus, no party line.

You could argue that "Christianity is my party." Truth is, that's by choice only, and I support it entirely.

That said, I didn't come to my current position without a TON OF "dismantling."

Where I haven't torn down EVERYTHING I held as true when I was younger (sometimes just to build it back up again), MANY and particularly MANY IMPORTANT things, had to be reconstructed after I examined them thoroughly.

If you're not doing something similar, I urge you to start. I don't want you to stop doing what you're doing based on what you believe UNLESS you decide what you're doing is WRONG. Still, there's a LOT to be said for examining your basic tenets and potentially tossing some of them out.

This is what I cover on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
