20201228 Combining Beliefs - The Daily Summation

You may think it totally acceptable to combine various spiritual beliefs, as for me, not so much.

To begin with, I am a Christian. If that's not true for you, we probably have little basis for discussion with regard to the idea of putting together ideologies.

If you are a believer in Jesus though, and you think you can combine that with anything else, in my mind, you're confused (which, mind you, you have every right to be).

It's one thing to try to mix major things like the teachings of Confucius, Taoism, or even something like Buddhism or Hinduism with Christianity. These--in my view can never live together.

When it comes to the "creeping idea" of astrology, it's somewhat worse, because people don't even seem to realize what they're doing.

That's what I discuss in this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When the companion article is written on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
