He also has one of the craziest post-military stories you will ever hear. He had the unique experience of being declared dead by the VA...and managed to come back to tell the world about it. Carmelo shares his life altering story, and how it sent him on a new path to helping people rise out of their darkest hours. He has gone on to author multiple books including Dead Soldier and The Hardest Language, and is currently working on the film adaptation of his life's story. I would have to say that Carmelo is one of the busiest and most motivated DEAD GUYS I have ever had the pleasure to sit down with.
