Powerful Women of the Bible: Deborah

This week we will be reading about Deborah. Deborah is a powerful woman of the Bible because she is the only female judge mentioned in the Bible. She is a warrior and a prophet during a time when women were not able to go into battle or be in leadership. However, not only does she lead the Israelites into battle but she also prophecies another woman would help them defeat the Canaanites.
