This time it's Fender on Fender crime. It's a great comparison of North vs. South and cost vs. performance. Bass 1 is a Mexican made Fender Deluxe Active Jazz V with a twist. The stock electronics have been replaced with some pricey Nordtrand American made nJ5f premium pickups in a passive only configuration. Bass 2 is a bone stock Honey Blonde USA Fender Highway One. Both bases have Alder bodies and maple necks with rosewood fretboards. The Highway 1 has a high mass Badass 2 bridge and is considerably heavier. Which of these 2 is king? You decide.
