Look How Good My Sony CX405 Camcorder Is !!

I was shooting some video in Imperial Beach with my new, small sized Sony HDR-CX405 camcorder and I was amazed at what shots I got. It was very windy that day, so there was some shaking coming from my Walmart tripod whenever a gust went by. Totally low budget as I take up this new hobby I hope to become good at. The first shot I made was from the beach looking at the southside of the pier. The second was on top of the pier about 60 yards in moving west towards the end of the pier facing north towards the jetty. That is where I stopped to set up my tripod and mount the camera. I was doing some beach shots when I saw a guy fishing on the jetty about a quarter of a mile away. The camcorder has a 60X zoom, so I thought I would see how well it worked. The second shot you see is with no zoom. The third shot is with 15X zoom. The third was with 30X and the fourth was full 60X zoom. When I got home and saw it on my computer I was shocked. If you look at the last zoom which was 60X, you can see his fishing pole and real clearly, but if you look at his shoes you can see the Nike logo on them. He was a quarter of a mile away folks, maybe a little further. Since then this compact camcorder has shot some unbelievable videos.
