Tuesday Febuary 23, 2021 Eveyone loves sunrises and sunsets. They will go out of their way just to see one no matter what it may take to see it. No matter what the condition of the elements, people will always endure what they have to to capture a beautiful one. I am no exception. I was filming in Cornado, CA and decided to take the Silver Strand drive home that stretches between Cornado and Imperial Beach in the South Bay of San Diego. As I was heading south toward I.B., I noticed the sun was only minutes from setting in the west. So I decided it would be great to film it going down through the pier that goes out about a quarter of a mile.I was just in time. Though the wind was gusting and creating problems for me as far a shaking my tripod and making it hard to capture video, I did what I could to minimize the problem.

Sunday April 4, 2021 While I was in Pacific Beach on Easter Sunday I saw a sandwich that someone had ordered and it look really good so I decided to get one. What a great decision that turned out to be because this chicken sandwich was was delicious. Not only did it have chicken, but bacon, avacados, cheese and more. I got it at the Bare Back Grill on Mission Blvd. and the price was very reasonable. Folks, if you reside anywhere in San Diego County, come eat one of these sandwiches. April 4, 2021 I was shooting video in Pacific Beach on Easter Sunday, because the traffic was moving 1-2 mph up Interstate 5 North and I couldn't get to the Oceanside Pier which was my original goal, and I got hungry and wanted a hamburger from anywhere else but the big three hamburger factories. I started walking north on Mission Blvd. and ran into Biggie's Burgers and Shakes. I wasn't too impressive from the outside of the building and when I went in the inside was just the same. I wasn't expecting much and I ordered anyway. When the hamburger came it wasn't that impressive looking either and I lifted it into my mouth. I was shocked,that Biggie's hamburger was GREAT !!! Tuesday Febuary 16, 2021 I was shooting some video in Imperial Beach with my new, small sized Sony HDR-CX405 camcorder and I was amazed at what shots I got. It was very windy that day, so there was some shaking coming from my Walmart tripod whenever a gust went by. Totally low budget as I take up this new hobby I hope to become good at. The first shot I made was from the beach looking at the southside of the pier. The second was on top of the pier about 60 yards in moving west towards the end of the pier facing north towards the jetty. That is where I stopped to set up my tripod and mount the camera. I was doing some beach shots when I saw a guy fishing on the jetty about a quarter of a mile away. The camcorder has a 60X zoom, so I thought I would see how well it worked. The second shot you see is with no zoom. The third shot is with 15X zoom. The third was with 30X and the fourth was full 60X zoom. When I got home and saw it on my computer I was shocked. If you look at the last zoom which was 60X, you can see his fishing pole and real clearly, but if you look at his shoes you can see the Nike logo on them. He was a quarter of a mile away folks, maybe a little further. Since then this compact camcorder has shot some unbelievable videos. Tuesday March 30, 2021 Little children are so simplistic and unassuming when it comes to the environment around them. Play time is all the time and if you can give a lilly pad to a Koi fish swimming by you, then it is icing on the cake. This little girl is totally caught up in the moment while chatting away at her mom while her attention zeroed in on the fish. But then it all changes when she turns around, then see's she is part of this new video and who it is doing it. It's a 6'5" man and she doesn't like what she sees and her face shows it. But younger or older it doesn't matter, music is the bridge between all generations. Chet plays this song beautifully and I am sure many will appreciate his talent. Playing in an outdoor venue can be tough, but it is also fulfilling because you immediately get the people's response who are listening. It is gratifying to see when your music is truly touching someone's heart and this song is one of those that do.
