Tube-feeding ducklings 🦆
In the wild, ducklings will spend only about one day in the nest after they hatch. That's why they hatch with feathers and their eye open as they soon have to feed themselves.
In this video Salthaven team is weighing baby ducklings twice a day to make sure they are gaining weight. Sometimes they a little extra tube feeding to help keep them on track.
