NBC 26 weather forecast

As a system scrapes us to our south, areas south of the Fox Valley are waking up to light snowfall! Minimal accumulations are expected and this will wind down by 8am and the clouds will depart the area by 10am! Sunshine will be abundant through the afternoon, before more clouds return this evening. Highs will hit the 40s! This weekend we can expect a mixed bag of weather. Clouds with perhaps a few rain showers on Saturday, with the possibility of some snow mixing in overnight. Don't worry though, sunshine takes over on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the seasonable 40s. It looks like another quick warm-up on the way on Monday & Tuesday with 60s returning!
