Mission San Juan Capistrano is a Spanish mission in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, California. Founded in 1776 by Spanish Catholic missionaries of the Franciscan Order, it was named for Saint John of Capistrano. This Mission is the 7th of 11 missions along the California coast, built to spread Catholicism the Native Americans.

Today, the city San Juan Capistrano is still considered a place of pilgrimage for all walks of life. Even swallows migrate all the way here from Goya, Argentina! Spirituality aside, the city is a hot spot for food, architecture and culture.

I definitely plan on spending some more time here, and would love for you guys to follow my adventure. Stay tuned for more!
