Paris! Oh So Romantic Latin Quarter

I have traveled to quite a few places and every place has its appeal, its uniqueness. Some enthrall you gastronomically as Madrid has for me. Some puts me in awe with its old world grandness and that is Rome. But Paris…Paris…It is indeed the city of love.

I have said in the short film that I need no lover to make me feel the romance of the Latin Quarter. But perhaps of the uncertain times, a part of me feels amiss. A part of me wants that comfort, a part of me now dreams of a lover who will bring me that warm feeling of safety that comes with love. I know I speak of giving love and I do. I work indefatigably to give to the world. And that fulfills me. But at times…most especially times like this…like now…no matter how comfortable one is with one’s self, no matter how strong, one needs that warm human love and a lover can certainly gift this to you…to me.

I speak of this not from a point of weakness but rather from the point of honesty. For only in honesty and authenticity can one draw and keep strength within one’s self.

So I shall continue to dream of that lover…a lover so true, so calm, and so loving. Whether he will come or not, that is up to the universe…to God. And when he does, we will stroll the cobbled pathways of Paris’ Latin Quarter holding hands just as lovers do.
