The Campaign To Recall California’s Governor Has Collected 1.95 Million Signatures.

The Recall Gavin Newsom Campaign Made The Announcement Across The Street From The California State Capitol Over The Weekend, About A Week Before The Deadline To Qualify For A Statewide Ballot.

However, The Campaign Said They Will Still Work To Get To 2 Million Signatures.

In Order To Qualify For A Ballot The Campaign Needed To Collect 1.5 Million Signatures But Wanted To Collect More Just In Case All Signatures Couldn't Be Validated.

The Campaign Has Confirmed That They Have A Validation Rate Of 82%, And Said That They Have A Message For The Politicians And The Lobbyists That Have "Destroyed California’s Dream For Decades," That Message Is That "Your Game’s Over, And From Now On The People Are In Charge Of California."

If The Effort Succeeds A Recall Election Would Likely Happen Later This Year.
