Suicide is the second leading cause of death for those aged 10 to 24. Every day in the U.S. an average of over 3,470 people attempt suicide. These statistics are staggering and tragic. Why are so many considering and even attempting suicide? Is there anything we can do to reduce these numbers?

Today on Educate For Life Kevin has as his guest, Ray Comfort. Ray Comfort is the Founder/President/CEO of Living Waters Publications. Ray Comfort is a well-known evangelist and apologist. After relocating from New Zealand to Southern California in the late 1980s, Ray introduced a long line of pastors and churches to a biblical teaching which he called Hell's Best Kept Secret. The positive and enthusiastic response that followed took Ray’s Living Waters Publications ministry to a whole new level.

Ray Comfort has produced several movies speaking to the truth of God and the Bible, including his newest film, Exit: The Appeal of Suicide. In this movie, he explores depression, its sources, and why so many see suicide as the only way out.
