Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, wants to prioritize non-driving travelers on our nation's roads. This may appear to be based on safety for those who bike or walk, but it isn't. It is a statement grown out of an anti-car sentiment. The administration plans to "encourage" people out of their polluting cars and onto bikes, for our own good.

Movement creates opportunity and joy. Moving freely is very important in a free society. When Pete Buttigieg says "roads are for more than cars" he is saying that your free movement is less important than the green ideology. Next, your gas guzzler will be idling too long, so you will have to drive electric. We don't have enough ability to power all electric vehicles, you will only be able to drive 3 days a week. It goes on from there.

This is just part of a longterm plan that sounds like something someone came up with in a faculty lounge to "make things better" for us.
