What bore tide?

We were out fishing and the tide went out and we decided to stay and fish. The tide goes out and sets us on the bottom so now we are stranded but, still fishing so who cares, right? When the tide came back we were up and going. We started across the bay and there was this line in the water we could see. It spanned the entire horizon. When we got close enough to tell what it was? I was in a mad rush to get my phone out and start recording. We were all laughs and high fives. I put my phone away and we immediately ran aground! Funniest thing to happen all day. We were dying laughing. The bore tide caught up to us and picked us back up off the bottom and we started the boat back up and took off! This was the best day I had in 2020.
