We wheeled all the way back to Eska falls. The rain made the rocks and silt very slippery. This in turn made the ridge crossing a very dangerous situation. You could easily slide off the "trail" and find yourself at the bottom of the valley floor. Nothing a skilled offroader can't handle. I captured this xj followed by a gladiator making their way to us. The views along the trail didn't disappoint.

This is my buddies lj. He went with me on my last wheeling trip out. He had a blast! This is by Tok Alaska. Pretty sure we will return to this area.

This was a trail we were making our way up. We had no real destination. Just out exploring in the back country of Alaska.

This was us out playing around. We are punching a trail in to see the glacier. We made it almost all the way but, the snow got too deep towards the top.

While at work we had a fox come through. They are everywhere. It had been hunting around the area. So I decided to watch it. Atta boy. Pest control.

Guy said his truck just shut off while he was driving 10mph. No idea why. So I pushed it in the shop and while looking at the wet air filter I noticed water up the intake tube. Decided to drain the oil and well? The video says it all.

My xj makes quick work of this hill that had the guy in the lj scared to death. The video doesn't do it justice.

This was a video my buddy took of me in my 00 jeep tj climbing. This is a very steep mountain at the very site of arcticman. Only its not winter. I have lockers front and rear, 4.88 gears, 33in tires and a 4cyl. This jeep is loads of fun to wheel. BTW, I went up and over.

This is a slippery stretch of trail that the mud is like duck shit. It's almost worse than walking on ice. Although the lockers and good tires make quick work.

Lockers make easy work of things.

We were out fishing and the tide went out and we decided to stay and fish. The tide goes out and sets us on the bottom so now we are stranded but, still fishing so who cares, right? When the tide came back we were up and going. We started across the bay and there was this line in the water we could see. It spanned the entire horizon. When we got close enough to tell what it was? I was in a mad rush to get my phone out and start recording. We were all laughs and high fives. I put my phone away and we immediately ran aground! Funniest thing to happen all day. We were dying laughing. The bore tide caught up to us and picked us back up off the bottom and we started the boat back up and took off! This was the best day I had in 2020.

Just passing through a mud hole in the trail. My 00 4cyl made it look easy. The rubicon behind me with the 4.7 stroker seemed to have more issues. Funny that we both stalled our jeeps.

I just stomped through the woods and found a lake. It's becoming clear my friends don't like to follow me.

We were out playing and decided to make our way to the top of one of the mountains. This is around 4200ft.
